It is often thought that deeper life christians are some special peculiar brand of christians. Some have some very peculiar ideas of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The deeper life or the Baptism of the Holy Ghost are normal, biblical Christianity. R.A. Torrey attributed D.L. Moody’s effectiveness to his experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and if we will be affective in the kingdom of God we will need to seek and obtain this baptism with the Holy Spirit.
