Most prominent Christians of the past had a second-crisis experience after salvation known as the”Deeper Life.” The experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit is called the deeper life because these have testified to a deeper experience with God that was unknown to them before. The lives of these Christian people are known because of what God was able to do with them after they surrendered all in consecration and were filled with the Spirit.
